PRICING
The pricing of any project depends on the number of hours that are required to complete the task at hand. Items such as Logo Design Packages have a capping on them and a number of designs are included in the package price. Should a client continue to request additional designs then these will be charged at an hourly rate on top of the Design Package pricing.
TERMS
Payment terms are that full payment will be received prior to any client receiving their finished artwork, an Invoice stating the work carried out and the amount due and payable will be forwarded to the client at the completion of the artwork/design. Payment can be received via electronic transfer, cheque or cash. Whilst all care and attention is paid to the careful packaging and prompt despatch of any DVD's sent by mail or courier, I accept no responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transport.
SPECS
All artwork is created using Apple Macs and the latest in the Adobe Creative Suite programs. Ie Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Acrobat. Artwork will be saved in the format required by the client as discussed at the beginning of the process and final files will be burnt to DVD for delivery or emailed through to a client as per their request.
TURNAROUND TIMES
My turn around times are usually based on a 5 day period for logo designs, cartons, brochures etc. Each client is treated equal and any one client requiring urgent work done may incur an additional priority fee to facilitate the faster production of their artwork.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY/COPYRIGHT
Under Australian Law the intellectual property/ ownership of copyright resides with the graphic artist who created the artwork. In the event that the graphic artist is working as a sole trader then the copyright rests with that graphic artist. Ownership of the copyright can be assigned to the client who commissioned the work on payment of an assignment fee to the graphic artist who holds copyright and written consent by that graphic artist. Without written permission no client shall enter into any of the following: reproduction of the work in a material form; publish the work; perform the work in public; communicate the work to the public or make any adaptation of the work. To do so is an infringement of copyright.
