Creating a design/print partnership is my goal with my clients. There will be times when you want to get something printed, say a promotional item and the print supplier handling the printing says you need it as a vector image or eps file. Well unless you are used to it the supplier might as well be speaking another language. That's where I step in, simply ask the print supplier to give me a call and I can help sort out their needs for you.
As the person looking after your company's Graphic Design needs, I will have your logo, artwork, images etc on hand to forward on as required. All my artwork is backed up to external devices for archiving and storage. Your files will never be deleted even if I have supplied them to you on DVD at the completion of a job.
Understanding correct file formats is extremely important especially if my clients artwork is being sent overseas for printing and there is no time to have the file redone and sent off again.
